This article goes over how
media is slowly taking over traditional media. For example, Television is being
completely overthrown by streaming platforms. YouTube has already been doing
this for a while but when you include Netflix, Hulu, Twitch, etc. It’s
inarguable at that point that new Media is becoming better than old traditional
media. It also explains the problem of Mass Media with articles and news. Fake
news is a big problem with Mass media since its mainly activist that are
publishing these making people change political views. Mass media just
basically causes positive and negative influences on people.

Online gambling has been a problem but not a huge
problem like gambling. Online gambling definitely seems like it breaks a law it
doesn’t. This article is explaining what Online gambling is and if it should
be checked for legality. The Internet has allowed new types of gambling to be
available online. Improvements in technology have changed betting habits just
as video lottery terminals and scratch cards changed the gambling industry in
the 20th century. Gambling has become one of the most popular and lucrative
businesses on the Internet. This is partly due to the wide range of gambling
options available to many different types of people. For example, Fantasy
Sports allows those who not only like sports but are able to basically be put
in the hands of a GM of a team. This allows more satisfaction for people since
they're in more control of what they’re betting on. While normal sports betting
is the activity of predicting sports results and placing a wager on the
outcome. There’s also online poker and casinos which have more risk of course.
But most of these were legalized in the late 2000s by most states.

This article is discussing Arms trade and how
it’s hurting the US. The arms treaty was established common standards for the
international trade of conventional weapons and seek to reduce the illicit
arms trade. This article basically thinks that The Arms Trade Treaty is not in
the interest of the United States. Over time, it will constrain the U.S. while
having no effect on arms exporters such as China. It also thinks that it’s not
serious about addressing the real challenges of maintaining peace and security.
Since it’s growing more and more dangerous over time with it not being
controlled as it used to be. It was more controlled during the cold war and arms
race.
